Courage Online is an unofficial cyber shadow of Courage the organization, which is a support ministry for men and women living with same-sex attraction who wish to live chastely and deepen their discipleship in Christ. Nobody here believes that "homosexuality," in and of itself, is a sin. We believe, as the Church teaches, that it is a disordered form of what is a God-given element of being human - but it is disordered in that sexual desires are directed to the same sex. However, with that understood nothing about living with same-sex attraction NECESSARILY makes our lives any more sinful than others’ lives. Certainly, people living with same-sex attraction can sin as much as anyone else, but it would be incorrect to think that there is something about being same-sex attracted that has to make one a worse sinner in his own right or a worse sinner than anyone else. After all, people living with same-sex attraction can also pursue lives of great virtue, love, holiness, chastity and grace...in short, as the Catechism of the Roman Catholic Church teaches, we are called to be Saints and we can expect sufficient grace to help us attain that end. :)"
